Stefan Ester is a German sculptor. The German sculptor from Garmisch-Partenkirchen dedicates the exhibition THE STORY BEHIND “PAN” to his mother. She was one of its greatest supporters as well as one of its greatest critics.

It is the pandemic that is reflected in his current work. "Where are we going next?" Is the question he is always asking himself. Stefan Ester is an artist who wants to work with a time context. He has to get involved in a topic that promotes his soul and spirit. He can only works honestly. In the form of balls and rods, it represents the virus in an artistic way. It is always the principle of yin and yang. That means to him the good in the bad and the bad in the good. They are beautiful sculptures, but there is always “THE STORY BEHIND” something. It is the negativity that has arisen that the artist to work on something positive. Stefan has an intention, he doesn't like coincidences.

The sculptors aren't not just viruses with spikes, because that would be too boring for him! It should have a nice and positive effect and it show you also the current situation which means something negative. That Stefan Ester can live better in a time like this.

“I am making art because only this is my passion nothing else. I get everywhere inspired. Art is a meaning of expressing myself to me, whether negative or positive. It reflects my life."
